Eight tariffs out of fourteen, in the overseas departments and communities of the euro zone, remain higher than those of France, according to the latest Iédom report which compares data from April 2025 to those from April 2024.
Bank rate differences with France have widened for six of them. The largest increases relate to account maintenance fees, the difference from which increases from 2,98 euros in 2024 at 4,14 in 2025 as well as on the immediate debit card, whose difference goes from 1,45 euros to 1,89. Four prices, however, are lower than or equal to those in France, including free on 3 prices. In the meeting, half of the fourteen basic banking rates are higher than those in mainland France : account maintenance fees, subscriptions to remote banking services, providing a debit card (with immediate flow, with deferred flow and systematic authorization), the intervention contribution and the contribution to an insurance offer for loss or theft of means of payment. Two are lower than the hexagonal rates : occasional transfer within the territory, carried out in agency, and the costs of setting up a direct debit mandate. The other prices are the same as in mainland France or the difference is not significant.
