The Réutiliz association launched a crowdfunding campaign on Ulule in September, aiming to raise 12,000 euros to help finance its projects. Réutiliz works to reuse glass containers (bottles and trays) in order to reduce waste production on the island. It has already enabled the reuse of 105,000 containers out of 155,000 containers collected. Réutiliz wants to change scale by equipping itself with a semi-industrial washer capable of processing 500 bottles per hour, the equivalent of the daily capacity of your current washer. To power this machine, the association is preparing to deploy four collection machines in Carrefour shopping centers and will gradually set up collection shelves in the island's recycling centers.
