Orange has been allocated 100 MHz of frequencies in the 5G core band (3,5GHz), fin 2021, as part of the auction process led by Arcep for Réunion. Obtaining a second 5MHz block in the 700MHz band allows it to extend its frequency portfolio to 184,8 MHz au total, “the largest in the Reunion market”, says the Reunion operator, a few months before the arrival of 5G on the island.
