On the occasion of the ITB, international tourism fair organized in Berlin from March 4 to 6, Reunion Island Tourism has signed a partnership with Dertour, first German tour operator.
Alongside 19 professionals from Reunion and 8 BTS tourism students from Évariste-de-Parny high school, the Reunion delegation participated in several highlights of the show, including meetings with the main German and European tourism players, discussions on air connectivity… A few days after the passage of cyclone Garance on the island, Patrick Lebreton, president of the IRT, repeated the message “we hold on, we let go of not”. As a reminder, the IRT is living its last weeks. The 1st from, it will merge with the Réunion Tourism Federation to form the Réunion Tourism Committee, public establishment, industrial and commercial in charge of promoting the destination outside and in Reunion.
