Since its creation in 2009, the Réunion Indian Ocean Higher School of Engineering has trained more than 530 engineers, becoming a leading player in higher education on the island and in the Indian Ocean.
The graduation ceremony, which took place on Friday December 5, 2025, marked a new milestone for the school, with the release of 37 new engineers from the three specialties (agri-food, building and energy, computer science)came to join a community of professionals now established in Reunion, in mainland France and internationally. The class of 2025 is distinguished by a strong female representation, with 59% women in all specialties combined. Agri-food : 13 graduates (100% women). Building and energy : 13 graduates (15% women). Computer science : 8 graduates (63% women). The first survey results show a very encouraging employment rate : 67% of respondents (21 graduates, out of 31 responses) have already found a job : 57% are women (12), 57% following the end-of-study internship, 66% in Reunion, 24% in mainland France, 10% abroad. The 2025 ceremony confirmed this dynamic. With now more than 530 graduates since its creation, the school continues its mission of contributing to economic development, scientific and technological of Reunion.
