From concept to success : the art of frankness

In 2025, the French franchise displays remarkable health and confirms its role as an economic pillar. With 2,035 active networks in the territory, the model continues its consolidation while expanding : 93,395 franchised points of sale now serve France (+ 2,9 % vs 2024), generating a turnover of 93,71 billion euros (+ 4,9 %). This growth is accompanied by a major social impact with 1,018,038 direct and indirect positions created (+ 5,7 %). This is proof that franchising is not only a successful economic model, but also a real lever for jobs and territorial dynamism.

With 31,937 visitors this year, the Franchise Expo Paris show (you 14 au16 March) confirms the dynamics of franchise entrepreneurship. Like its “ultra-qualified” visitors, the event displays great maturity : one in two visitors is already in the business world, and almost half have a personal contribution of more than €50,000. Even more revealing : 67% of them plan to take the franchise step within 12 months. The show thus brings together aspiring entrepreneurs ready to invest. Franchisor side, it’s a wealth of opportunities : 550 exhibitors (465 brands present), 90 sectors of activity, 185 new exhibitors. The offer is renewed from year to year to offer new opportunities to project leaders. 108 exhibiting brands are also members of the French Franchise Federation (FFF), a guarantee of confidence in the market. “This 44th edition has proven that franchising is not just an economic model but indeed a state of mind : that of those who want to undertake but not alone. “The first feedback from participants and the more than 2,000 qualified meetings organized demonstrate the quality of the exchanges and the relevance of our offer. We are proud to have been, once again, the catalyst for thousands of projects that, tomorrow, will transform territories and lives”, declares Sylvie Gaudy, director of Franchise Expo Paris.

A show that educates as much as it connects

From year to year, Franchise Expo Paris becomes a real ephemeral university of franchising. Nearly 7,000 people attended the conferences, there were 178 speeches while 350 expert speakers were mobilized. Finally, the 2026 edition confirmed that the franchise has set out to conquer the world : 1,677 international visitors from 77 countries and 83 international exhibitors came this year. The French franchise shines and attracts beyond our borders. For Véronique Discourse-Buhot, general delegate of the FFF, “the results of this edition echo the indicators that we publish every year : franchising is a driving force for entrepreneurship in France. A model that stands out as an essential lever of our economy. And the show reminds us that behind these figures, there are women and men who make the courageous choice to undertake”.

Franchise Victories

Organized by the FFF, two gatherings celebrate the excellence of the sector each year.
Revelations of the franchise, of which it was the 25th edition, highlighted the most innovative concepts : Beer’s Corner, which reinvents the spirit of the French beer bar was crowned Revelation 2026 ahead of Chikin Bang (2e), the solar king (3e) and BOC Coffees, distinguished by the jury’s favorite. These brands wonderfully illustrate the vitality of young French networks. In this same surge of recognition, the Franchise Ribbons rewarded the actors who contribute every day to the influence of the model : Paul Favot (DOM and VIE) and Augustin Poul (Service Menus) won the Franchise Silver Ribbons ; Mickael Di Luca (Future Renovations) and Olivier Mermuys (Cavavin) received Franchisor Silver Ribbons ; Benoit Fougerais (Franchise Financing and Insurance) obtains the Partner Silver Ribbon, while Benoit Lahaye (Attila) is crowned Gold Ribbon franchisee. Sylvie Gaudy (Infopro Digital) wins the Partner Gold Ribbon. A great demonstration of the wealth of talents that make the franchise strong in France !
