It was at CES 2026 in Las Vegas that French deeptech Qista announced the launch of a new ecological and intelligent mosquito control solution., combining biomimicry and artificial intelligence, Qista One XS, intended for the individual market.

Created in 2014 and based in Sénas, in Bouches-du-Rhône, Qista specializes in eco-responsible mosquito control. The SME now has 60 employees, supports more than 11,000 customers, operates in 37 territories and equips more than 150 municipalities. For its second participation at CES, This year Quista was part of the delegation of ten high-potential start-ups selected by ZEBOX, the international innovation accelerator launched by the CMA CGM group. Qista One XS is a new generation of mosquito traps designed for the residential market (see box). Made in France, this innovation marks a step in the company’s growth strategy, by making its technology more accessible while maintaining a high level of environmental standards. Qista One XS reduces mosquito nuisance by up to 90%. Selective and toxin-free, the device has no impact on the ecosystem, protecting humans, animals and natural resources.

Technology inspired by life
Qista One XS is based on an approach combining biomimicry and artificial intelligence. The device diffuses recycled CO₂ to imitate human breathing, releases an olfactory lure reproducing the smell of the human body, then captures mosquitoes using MosqiVortex suction technology. This approach helps reduce mosquito populations in real time, without using harmful substances.

A product designed for everyday life
With an optimized format (506 mm high, 193 mm wide and 506 mm long), the device combines discretion and efficiency and is distinguished by a radius of attraction of 60 meters, one of the highest on the market, allowing the protection of large residential areas. This performance is accompanied by autonomy multiplied by ten compared to previous generations. The lightness of its CO₂ cylinder reinforces its ease of use and facilitates its transport, an asset for the European and international deployment of the solution.
