I want to talk about Asian Soya, including the founding directors, Laurence et David Narayanin, were kind enough to give us an interview for the 20th anniversary of the company. I think the example of Asian soybeans deserves to be highlighted, first of all because it testifies, with its two founders, a desire for adventure as strong as ever thanks to passion and will. Exemplary also remains the accuracy of their vision of an organic product, vegan and local : not tofu. This vision has made Asian soybean leaders pioneers for twenty years. Because always a precursor is their project to stimulate the creation of small agri-food sectors in Reunion, combining culture and transformation, soy and organic oils, to thus extend the domain of pei products. With healthy nutrition, it is the cause of the short circuit and therefore of the employment in Reunion that Soja d’Asie defends.

Passion, intuition, optimism, righteousness : we summarize, by this sequence of words, which seems to us to be the recipe for the Asian Soya approach. New products and projects from Asian Soy are part of the abundant news at the end of the year. Proof that despite an uncertain economic climate, things continue to move forward. The arrival in Reunion and Mayotte of the first true low-carbon cement, a revolutionary used oil regeneration project designed in Reunion Island and which is taking shape, the green shift of the Kryos group companies, the transparency effort of the local meat sector, the launch of amazing products in mainland France, etc. : all this contributes to the evidence of the same movement. As the coming year looms, I think it is useful to remember that this is the role, exactly, a magazine and an information site like Leader Réunion, to highlight this dynamic, to draw attention to what ultimately connects all the little streams of these initiatives. And it is on this observation, wishing you happy holidays and a year 2024 full of projects, that I will meet you on February 1st.
