The Reunion Export Club presented the first collaborative export group at the end of November, made up of ten local production companies wishing to attract hotels, wine merchants and delicatessens in Belgium and Switzerland.
Three ranges of tropical products — spirits and beers, deli, confectionery — are represented in this grouping, under the umbrella brand “Intense emotion, a taste of Reunion Island ». The collaborative export approach, which has already proven itself in mainland France, allows small and medium-sized businesses to develop internationally, by optimizing marketing and sales costs linked to export, but also by offering a diversified offer with a strong identity. The Réunion Export Club has as its main partner in this project the Chamber of Trades and Crafts.. The group is financed up to 70% by public funds from the Region, of the State and Europe. The Club obtained additional funding by winning a call for projects launched by the Ministry of Agriculture. The launch of marketing is planned for the beginning of 2024.
