After launching the Ba2000 kitchen scale in 1969, a reference in design, exhibited at MoMA in New York, Terraillon, European leader in precision metrology, develops the BA22 Mythic.
By revisiting the BA2000, the appearance of this culinary solution has been generally preserved, but redesigned and modernized. The BA22 Mythic is, For example, equipped with a backlit LCD screen, giving rise to an XXL display of numbers (3 cm high). Too, to make even more precise recipes, its graduation is precise to the nearest gram and the tare is automatic. Even easier to use with its two unique mechanical buttons, i.e. Power to turn it off or on, and Unit to simplify the smooth running of the recipe. Terraillon nevertheless retains, with the BA22, inseparable aspects of the BA 2000, whether in terms of design, with the reversible smoked black plastic bowl, only practicality, as the bowl fits just as easily onto the scale, making it easier to store. For this launch, Terraillon focuses on vintage colors that were popular at the time, in the 1970s, and which continue to appeal to the greatest number of people today : bright red, mustard yellow and duck blue.
