The consumer price index measured by INSEE has dropped by 0,3 % in June 2025 compared to the previous month in Reunion.
Food prices continued their decrease (-1 %, After -0,3 % one May). Fresh products prices drop in 6,3 % after the high increases of 7,1 % in April and 19,1 % one March, consecutive to cyclone garance. Excluding fresh produce, Food prices stabilize after three consecutive months of increase. Services prices fall from 0,3 %, Despite the increase in transport services prices (+10,5 %). For the fifth consecutive month, Energy prices retreat (-0,4 %). Manufactured products prices increase by 0,2 %, The prices of clothing and shoes increase by 1,2 % while those of health products and other manufactured products are stable. Finally, Tobacco prices continue to increase : +0,4% in June, after +2,8 % a May.
