The Beelab Incubator au Féminin is a space dedicated to the emancipation and professional development of women entrepreneurs, set up by Initiative Réunion. He celebrated his first birthday at the end of October.
The Beelab Incubator offers both individual and collective support, taking into account the technical and human aspects of business creation. The adventure began in October 2022 in the city of Saint-Louis thanks to the free provision of premises by the Fondatom foundation.. The device was then deployed at the Port and, recently, in Saint-Denis. The Beelab Incubator was born from the call for projects launched by the Ministry responsible for Equality between women and men, Diversity and Equal Opportunities. Call for projects intended to promote innovative actions in terms of autonomy and economic integration of women. Its first year of operation saw the Beelab Incubator greatly exceed its objective by supporting 303 active project leaders or entrepreneurs.. More than half are job seekers, including 42 to the RSA. The Beelab Incubator provides a complete and unique response to their needs as entrepreneurs, between business plan, statuses, development of marketing strategy, but also everything related to relationships, communication skills, etc.

Autonomy, key to success
Since he started, the Beelab Incubator highlights the empowerment of women, considered essential to stimulate innovation, economic growth and equal opportunities. Achieving the goal of supporting 100 women entrepreneurs was a crucial step for the structure in achieving this vision.. From various sectors, women entrepreneurs supported by the Beelab Incubator have successfully launched and developed their businesses. They also served as models for other women aspiring to launch themselves into entrepreneurship.. “This is only the beginning.. We are determined to help even more women empower themselves through entrepreneurship. We intend to continue our efforts by establishing strategic partnerships, by developing new programs and implementing innovative initiatives to stimulate the entrepreneurial potential of women”, underlines director Dominique Sery, director of operations at Initiative Réunion.
