The Mixed Transport Syndicate of Reunion (SMTR), public establishment bringing together the organizing authorities for the island's mobility (Region, Casud, Cinor, Cirest, Civis and western territory) changed his name on the occasion of his tenth anniversary, October 26.
His name is now "Reunion Island Mobility". Its first action under its new name will be the deployment of the Umay application on all public transport networks on the island (Yellow, Citalis, Alternéo, Carsud, End, Karouest) and near stations. It will allow users to report any problem encountered when traveling, to inform people of trust on their journey and to identify the nearest safe places - 12 bus stations spread across the island - in order to put themselves safety in the event of danger.
