A new university degree (OF) entitled “Engineering of European projects in Overseas Territories” will be offered next academic year by the University of Reunion.
Co-financed by the State, it aims to train more students and professionals in the management of European funds. “This skill is highly sought after by local employers, project leaders and management authorities, notably ", underlines the university. Applications for DU registration are open until May 31. The training is aimed at holders of a bac+3 or equivalent, its 158-hour program will be delivered in 56 half-days, from September 2024 to September 2025. It alternates academic teaching and professional teaching., relying on academics and the main players in the management of European programs in Reunion : state services, of the Region, of the Department and Agency for the management of local initiatives in European matters (Agile). Training is paid, its cost being reduced by the participation of the Ministry of the Interior and Overseas Territories. It amounts to 1,800 euros within the framework of an employer agreement and 800 euros for individuals.
