GBH participated in the Dom Tom Job Employment Fair, which was held on March 21 and 22 at the Nordev, in Saint-Denis. With 75 stations to be filled in its various subsidiaries, The group has mobilized more than a dozen human resources managers in its various business sectors to meet candidates.
More than 250 candidates were received during these two days. GBH is recruiting for positions ranging from early career to senior positions. Examples of positions to be filled in operational activities or support functions : employee self-service, cashier, treasury accountant, overhead accountant, occupational health and safety manager, department manager, department manager, boulanger, boucher, payroll manager, management controller, commercial, automotive technician, sales consultant, workshop technician, center manager, mechanic, etc. Certain professions are particularly in tension, such as payroll manager and catering professions (boulanger, pastry chef, boucher, fishmonger). “In order to resolve these situations of strong tension in certain professions, we carry out partnership actions with different schools and training centers. It is important that professionals know the opportunities to be seized in mass distribution, in the automotive professions at the moment, and this at all levels of responsibility. We also actively offer training to support the skills development of our motivated and willing team members.”, explained Michel Lapeyre, Director GBH Africa and Indian Ocean.
The HR team mobilized
“Certain sectors of activity are truly in tension, and participating in this show allows us to meet candidates who do not necessarily come to us, or who have not identified us by the recruiters. Our HR team is particularly mobilized for this event to meet our potential future employees and contact them in the coming days”, clarified Cécile Cavalié, HR director GBH mass distribution Indian Ocean.
