The Réunimer group announced in mid-October the integration of the three Pêcheries des Hauts-de-France companies. (PHF), Norsea and Stargel Seafood based in Boulogne-sur-Mer, first French fishing port.

The Cove Atlas, 68 m vessel, allows both fishing : longline for toothfish and trawl for other species.

This operation is the first acquisition in continental Europe since the entry into the capital of the group of the investment fund Hivest Capital. It marks a strategic step in the construction of the integrated model, sustainable and international Reunite. An integration that broadens the value chain and opens up new market perspectives. By integrating fish trading and trading in mainland France, Reunimer completes its mastery of the sector, from capture to marketing, while anchoring itself in the first European fishing hub. This alliance makes it possible to create new industrial and commercial synergies between Indian Ocean sites and French platforms., strengthening supply capacity, transformation and distribution of the group. For Fisheries of Hauts-de-France, Norsea et Stargel Seafood, this integration represents an opening to the international market, with the possibility of promoting their know-how in new markets, while contributing to the structuring of a French export sector that is both competitive and responsible.

Shared values

Current leaders, Stéphane Level and Yannig Gomel (PHF), as well as Grégory Fulgueiras at Norsea, continue their operational management functions and become partners of Réunimer Holding. The Boulogne teams, recognized for their operational excellence and expertise in seafood products, thus join a group which places responsibility, transparency and sustainability at the heart of its growth. “We are happy and proud to welcome emblematic companies from Boulogne-sur-Mer to Réunimer., symbol of French fishing. This integration strengthens our value chain and creates a strategic bridge between the Indian Ocean and the European market. Ensemble, we are developing a virtuous model, combining operational requirements, respect for resources and creation of shared value. This is a major step in our ambition : offer consumers seafood products from controlled origins, responsible and high quality », explains Sébastien Camus, president of the Réunier group.

A workforce now of 960 employees

The Réunimer group is an integrated player in the fishing industry, processing and distribution of seafood products. Working mainly in the Indian Ocean region, the group is a leader in the fresh fishing market and exports pelagic fish and other seafood products to France, Europe, Asia and America. Present in Reunion, Madagascar and now Boulogne-sur-Mer, it employs 960 people and operates 6 industrial sites.
