As the school holidays approach, Orange Réunion announced that its 5G customers with a compatible offer and mobile could now benefit from the fifth generation of mobile networks at no additional cost when traveling in mainland France, in areas covered by 5G. These were already the conditions previously offered by Orange to its 4G customers when traveling. Orange launched 5G in 3,5 GHz in Reunion mid-June 2022. The majority of neighborhoods in Saint-Denis, du Port and Saint-Pierre are already covered, since the beginning of September.
