The EDF du Port power plant certified RED II

EDF PEI (island electricity production) announced at the end of October that it had obtained RED II certification for its Port Est power plant. Installation is the first in the world, of this power, to obtain this certification.

This year, Thanks to the functioning of liquid biomass, The Port Central East has reduced its emissions by 532,305 tonnes of CO2. Red II is a European certification on the sustainability of bioenergies, Implementation in 2023.
