Since 2013, the innovative business creation competition, organized by the Technopole de La Réunion, aims to stimulate the creation of businesses in the region.
It is intended for any adult with an innovative idea and wishing to make it a reality by creating their own company.. The prizes for the 2025 edition were awarded on June 18. With their Fibcan project (transforming sugarcane bagasse into a bio-sourced composite material), Johanna Grégoire and Élisa Dace won 1st prize. 2nd prize was awarded to Aurélien Hoareau, for his Goni project (100% natural energy gels and purees), and the 3rd prize to Anaïs Mamour (produce, application aimed at improving the quality of life of people with mental disabilities and their caregivers). The jury’s favorite prize was awarded to the Reskap project (network of multifunctional emergency terminals intended for hikers), worn by Églantine Trabichet, Maëlle Boyer, Insiya Hoareau and Clara Moulin.
