Ibrahim Patel was not allowed to introduce himself, but he can be satisfied with the results of the elections to the CCI Réunion, organized from May 4 to 17 after the cancellation of those of last October-November. The list of the Federation and the Capeb, led by Pierrick Robert, constituted with his approval and which he supported, won 29 seats : the 15 seats of the Commerce college and 14 of the 16 seats of the Services college. Only the Industry college escaped him : the list led by Bruno Cohen won the 9 seats, strong of the 1,800 votes held by its leader thanks to its photovoltaic production SCI. CPME and Medef, gathered on the list led by Pascal Plante, for their part suffered an almost humiliating failure, by sending only two elected officials to the consular assembly : the head of the list and Johnny Law-Yen. But Pascal Plante does not want to stop there. From May 23, he filed an action for annulment before the administrative court, motivated by the small difference in votes between Pierrick Robert's list and his own, as well as the dysfunctions observed in the distribution of voting materials. On this subject, Bruno Cohen, for his part, filed a complaint against La Poste. Unhappy candidate and former consular elected official, Rico Vimbaye a, him too, made accusations of electoral fraud and threatened to file an appeal on the eve of the first plenary assembly which was to bring Pierrick Robert to the presidency of the institution, the 25th from. Federation in charge, his opponents who accuse him of cheating and file appeals : these new consular elections were ultimately a continuation of the previous ones. It will be up to the administrative court to write the end of the scenario.
