Teralta accelerates on the path to low-carbon cement

With TERAKAZ and TERABAT cements, Teralta confirms its desire to be a key player in sustainable construction in the Indian Ocean.

Major player in construction materials in Reunion, From the blade, Audemard group, takes a new step in its low carbon strategy. After the launch in April 2025 of its first locally formulated cement, TERAKAZ, NF certified, the company announces today the launch on the market of a second cement with a reduced footprint : TERABAT, also NF certified ! Products in the new ultra-modern production unit at the Port, these cements use pozzolan and constituents from the circular economy and significantly reduce CO₂ emissions associated with concrete. A step forward that meets both the expectations of the local market and the global challenges of ecological transition. For Teralta, the NF certification of its cements is not only a quality label : it is a guarantee of reliability and performance which reassures construction professionals in their projects. “Obtaining two certifications in record time illustrates the company’s commitment and industrial know-how.
