The quarterly Image PME survey, carried out by the Sagis firm on the basis of data from accountants, showed a seventh consecutive drop in the average turnover of Reunion VSEs and SMEs in the 2nd quarter of 2025. He went back 0,9% compared to the previous quarter and 1% year-on-year, and these figures are not adjusted for inflation (1,5% in June 2025). Most sectors are affected by this decline, with the exception of services, which recorded an increase in average turnover, however limited to 1%. But in this vast sector, realities are contrasting. The increase is driven by that recorded in real estate activities and specialized activities, scientific and technical. On a national level, the Image PME survey shows a general decline in the turnover of small businesses. Only Brittany recorded a slight increase (+0,2 %). In all other regions of France, the declines are greater than that measured in Reunion.
