The Lab Tourisme Réunion aims to detect and support start-ups bringing added value to the tourism sector.
After organizing a first tourism innovathon in February 2024, The structure accompanies six young shoots and puts them in touch with concrete experimentation grounds on the island. The Réunion Tourism Committee announced at the beginning of July the membership of Lab Tourisme Réunion in the national network of tourism innovation platforms, France Tourism Lab. This network of incubators and accelerators of innovative entrepreneurs for the tech tourism sectors was launched by the General Directorate of Enterprises in 2016. Innovations supported by the network provide answers to the challenges of digitalization, reducing the carbon footprint, improving accessibility… Reunion Island is the first overseas territory to integrate it.
