Frenchbee and company "sister" Air Caraïbes launched in June a new system for recycling plastic bottles on board on the arrival of their flights in Orly.
So far, The bottles collected on board were cremated, Like all the waste from flights. From now on, They are subject to specific sorting and are integrated into a revaluation sector provided by Paprec, Newrest Orly provider. The bottles are collected, straw, then recycled. At least 174,000 plastic bottles (73 900 for Frenchbee and 100 150 for Air Caraïbes) should thus be recycled each year.
