The Territorial Committee Action Housing Réunion, Chaired by François Caillé, held its annual convention on November 18 at the Village by CA in Saint-Denis. “This annual meeting takes place in a context where the issues of energy transition and the purchasing power of employees occupy a major place and collectively question the actors of economic life, in the territories, on new ways of living and working, the challenges posed by sustainable construction and decarbonization as well as supporting employees in their residential and professional careers”, underlines the joint group, main shareholder of SHLMR. The event was marked by the signing of two conventions. The first one, concluded with the certification body Cerqual, will enable the financing of a label on the optimized management of rainwater around buildings, with a view to preserving the resource and reducing investment and maintenance costs of the building. The second, signed with the city of Saint-Denis, focuses on improving the living environment and environmental attractiveness, supporting young Dionysians towards employment, quality of life and well-being in the city.
