Three foreign franchise concepts that are thriving in France

France, which is in first place on the European franchise podium in terms of development and turnover, attracts foreign concepts. Example with these three brands present at the recent Franchise expo Paris show, last month, launched to conquer the French market.

SWIXIM INTERNATIONAL, A SWISS REAL ESTATE FRANCHISE
Swixim international was founded in Geneva, almost twenty years ago by a real estate professional. It is today the first Swiss and international real estate franchise, with 250 agents offering their services to sell, acheter, to rent out, manage residential real estate. The openstore 7/7 by Swixim agency concept is based on a win-win business model between the franchisee and partner agents, with a simple equation : “More turnover, fewer expenses = sharing of exceptional profitability. » Present in France with 15 franchised agencies, Swixim international plans to develop its territorial network with nearly 150 locations in the coming years.

POPEYES, WORLD NUMBER TWO IN FAST FOOD
Popeyes is an American fast food fried chicken brand with more than 4,100 restaurants in more than 30 countries.. Created in 1972, it offers cuisine inspired by the flavors of Louisiana and owes its success largely to its iconic chicken sandwich. The brand opened its first restaurant in Paris on February 1, 2023 and intends to shake up the fast food market in France. The brand plans to open around twenty restaurants by the end of 2024 in the main cities of France and more than 300 restaurants by 2030. Eight restaurants, including three in Paris, are now in service.

THE ASCOTT LIMITED, THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS
The Ascott Limited, Singaporean hotel accommodation subsidiary, has established itself as a major player in the hospitality industry since first opening in Asia Pacific in 1984. With 14 brands, The Ascott Limited portfolio consists of hotel residences and aparthotels, hotels and “coliving” (shared accommodation in furnished accommodation). The Ascott Limited established itself in France in 2017 with the acquisition of Citadines (apartment hotels) and opened its first Citadines franchise in 2019. Its French portfolio includes 30 residences 3, 4 and 5 stars, where the sense of service and welcome is at the heart of the approach. The Ascott Limited plans to continue its expansion in France with the franchise model for Citadines brands, The Crest Collection (immersing yourself in the history and culture of the destination country is the promise of The Crest Collection brand, a concept launched in 2016) a summer set, brand that champions inclusion and sustainability. These multiple approaches make it possible to accelerate growth by benefiting from the local expertise of franchisees.
