Johnnie Walker Black Ruby reveals notes of red and black fruits associated with a sweetness of honey. The whole is noted with a hint of spices and a delicate smoked touch.
This blend comes from a selection of Scottish whiskeys, including the Malt of the Modern Roseisle distillery, which increases the time of fermentation and distillation to create a more pronounced fruity character. To balance flavors, Other renowned distiller whiskeys are added to this assembly, such as Clynelish, Glenkinchie, Cameron Brig, Cardhu. Each of these whiskeys is then chosen at a specific time of maturation for a softer aromatic profile, fruity and suave. The COL Ila, brings the subtle smoked finish, Walker house signature.
Some of these whiskeys have matured in barrels with red wine or oloroso, while others have experienced aging in ancient Bourbon barrels. Johnnie Walker Black Ruby offers the sweetest expression of Black Label. To be enjoyed on ice or cocktail.
