As part of France 2030, the State will invest a total of 54 billion euros over five years with two main objectives : decarbonization of the French economy and innovation, as long as it does not have a negative impact on the environment.
The plan is divided into several calls for projects, for which Reunion Island has 35 winners sharing 27,4 million euros in grants and 1,7 million repayable advances. 42% of France 2030 overseas winners are from Reunion, underlines the prefecture. The projects supported concern several themes : renewable energies, water management, digital innovations, production agricole. 19 of the 35 winners are companies selected as part of the Décarb’Flash call for projects (see also page 32), operated by the Environment and Energy Management Agency. They will be supported in projects to improve energy efficiency, heat recovery, or production of renewable heat and cold concerning utilities, industrial processes and buildings. The State will mobilize 3,8 million euros in subsidies to accelerate the transformation of these companies by supporting their energy self-consumption projects.
