The announcement was made by Philippe Lariche, among his various projects.
This brand, whose name has not yet been revealed, will be launched in 2026.
Other commercial event : the entrepreneur opens two first Marie Blachère bakeries in December.

Philippe Larriche once again puts all his experience in food franchising into this new project : the establishment of the Marie Blachère bakery franchise. Marie and her father Bernard Blachère founded their first bakery in 2004 in Salon-de-Provence. The network now has some 800 locations in mainland France and abroad. (to New York). The activity reaches one billion euros in turnover. The concept they imagined renews the exhibition of breads and pastries by presenting them on a display and no longer on a wall-mounted shelf display. It’s “the spirit of the market”. With, in addition, a commercial proposition that remains unprecedented in this sector : a fourth loaf offered for every three loaves purchased. Not to mention the quality of the bread, of which the Marie Blachère baguette is the emblem, and a substantial range of snacks. It is this concept that Philippe Lariche will introduce us to in December with two first points of sale in La Possession, on the Leader Price website, and at Rivière des Pluies. The entrepreneur plans, for this network, around thirty openings throughout the island.
New course : traditional catering
Philippe Lariche is known in Reunion for the establishment of fast food brands : after the Intermarché franchise, he introduced McDonald’s to the island, then Quick and finally Burger King. Having sold the majority of its shares in Burger King Réunion to the Bertrand group, the entrepreneur sets himself a new challenge with the launch, next year, of a Reunionese catering brand, whose name has not yet been revealed. A change of direction towards classic catering. For this project, the Iriben group has already bought the restaurants Le Château de Sable and its little brother in Saint-Leu, the Castle Canteen, and should acquire an establishment in Saint-Gilles. We will also see this signature at the entrance to Gueleton, the future gourmet restaurant of the renovation project which will give a second life to the General’s villa, in Saint-Denis, a building classified as a historic monument. “The new brand will build on the existing names of each restaurant, who will retain their identity”, explains Philippe Lariche. This is therefore super form for the Iriben group. And for Philippe Lariche, who can, in addition, congratulate oneself on the assured victory of one's son, Benjamin, also a racing driver, in the 2025 GT4 European Series European Championship.
