Expert in customer relations and marketing strategy, the former commercial director of Canal+ Réunion brings her knowledge of the field and her global vision to strengthen the channel’s influence in the Indian Ocean zone.
Léa Borgne took up her new role as general director Réunion-Mayotte-Comoros at the beginning of October. Presentation of the main lines of the 2026 program, end of October, was an opportunity for her and her team to reaffirm the positioning of Canal+ : “To be both a benchmark broadcaster and a streaming platform offering the best immersive and connected experience. » Canal+ invests one billion euros annually in technology, its second investment item after content. The ambition is to offer each subscriber a connected experience, fluid and personalized, accessible on all screens. The sports offer in particular is now enriched with interactive features of the app. Canal+, such as Expert Mode and Multi-Live, allowing you to follow up to four events simultaneously.
10 productions locales par an
In terms of content, Canal+ remains faithful to its commitment to creation. The channel produces exclusive series, while also highlighting overseas creation through projects filmed and produced in Reunion and overseas, like the films Marmaille or Zion. Since 2019, between documentaries and fiction, on average, 10 productions per year in Reunion Island and more than 40 across all overseas territories are financed. This renewed support is a continuation of the Gold Prize of the Grand Prix for Media Responsibility in 2025.
